The Board of County Commissioners operates the jail. Jackson County Sheriff Donald L. Edenfield’s separate office receives mail at P.O. Box 919, Marianna, FL 32447-0919, and can be reached at 850-482-9624. A sheriff contact is not a substitute for the county facility’s booking record.

Normal inspection hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Jackson Clerk is at 4445 Lafayette Street, Marianna, FL 32446, telephone 850-482-9552, and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Florida prison release questions go to the FDC Bureau of Admission and Release at 850-488-9167. For a copy of an FDC record, use the department’s public-records process or contact its records custodian at 501 South Calhoun Street, Tallahassee, FL 32399, telephone 850-717-9774, fax 850-488-4534. The local FDC Community Corrections office is at 2863 Green Street, Marianna, FL 32448, telephone 850-482-9524. That office handles adult supervision questions, not county-jail release records.
